Coming from M.Martignac with a technician on 23/06/2015: test communication with LabVIEW in Modbus TCP, say that the estimate is too high for Coriolis and that we are going to make the competition play (Schneider, NI).

The instrumentation department inquired about the NI axis controls and Schneider equipment. Coming from Mr.Thierry Lecocq (Schneider Electric) on Friday 20/11. The order was placed in January 2016. Three Schneider motor drive units and three axes with corrosion-resistant guide rails were ordered.

The electrical cabinet was assembled in May 2016 (power side: Stéphane Pioz Marchand, control side 24V: Muriel Lagauzère). The control cabinet is equipped with an isolating switch and a travel stop button (drive STO inputs).

Control of the drives in ModBUS TCP began in May 2016. The LabVIEW program developed in the instrumentation department allows to :

take an origin (correct operation of the limit switches).

make an absolute displacement.

make a relative movement

moving at high speed

retrieve the current position

perform a sequence of movements

control several drives at the same time
