This is the position that the basal ADV probe (ADV1) is located at when the traverse is at position X1. Position X4 (at the apex of bend 2) is 7.01 m downstream of position X1. The Y-direction is defined relative to the local channel cross-section at any given X-position. The zero position is defined as the right bank of the channel, as looking downstream. The z-position is defined locally from the bed of the channel, for any given XY position, with zero representing the bed. |
